Kay Pendell-Smith also runs the successful Small Business Marketing Workshops in the Buckinghamshire area. The idea for these came from meeting many small businesses who had a good product or service offering, but weren’t marketing themselves effectively because they didn’t know how to. With experience of training and company-wide product launches in her previous roles, coupled with an adult teachers’ qualification, Kay Pendell-Smith is an enthusiastic and approachable presenter.
In May 2008 Kay Pendell-Smith was awarded runner up for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Aylesbury Business Excellence Awards, for the successful setting up of ps marketing.
